Smart Home Consultation

We’ve helped clients create true smart homes by leveraging available technologies.  While many of us may have used rudimentary tech for simple tasks like making our coffee in the morning, these tasks often failed if there was variability in your schedule.  Now imagine having your coffee made fresh weather or not you got up at 6am or 9:15am, without having to adjust any settings? Imagine leaving your home and your thermostat adjusting to a wider tolerance, active lights shutting down to conserve power, your doors locking automatically, and your home monitoring all entry points without you even having to think about it.  Water leak? Fire Alarm? Dog ran outside the fence? You’ll know within seconds.  The technology to make all that happen is here, and we can help you get started designing and implementing the systems necessary to make the Smart Home you’ve always dreamed of.

We’ve done all the research and testing so that you don’t have to.  With our experience in RF Networks, Antennas, and Engineering, we can help you select the optimal system to deploy.  There are many options available from mesh networks like Z-Wave and Zigbee to traditional Wi-Fi and hardwired Power over Ethernet systems.  But aside from selecting an architecture, there is a lot hinged on the provider platform you select and how that affects inter-connectivity between different device manufacturers and platforms that will meet the needs of your system.

The following are examples of some of the Smart Capabilties that we’ve deployed:

  • Track who is home and where
